As the former Senior Direction of External Affairs at Young Invincibles, I sat on our executive leadership team and oversaw the policy, research and communications departments across 5 states and Washington DC. My role was to identify and partner with on the ground allied groups, young adult spokespeople and academic experts to grow our brand and support our policy proposals. In that time, we passed more than 10 bipartisan proposals into law, grew organizational social presence by 24% on Instagram and 32% on YouTube; and increased external policy partners by 55%

As a former Vice President at Cassidy & Associates, I’ve represented dozens of Fortune 500 companies to help protect their brands and expand their political impact. As a lobbyist I worked to protect semiconductor supply chains, formulated and crafted artificial intelligence appropriations policy and congressional strategy, amended our tax code to expand various tax provisions, and fought copyright infringement against foreign competitors.

As a former staffer to Congresswoman Marcia Fudge (D-OH) and Edolphus Towns (D-OH), I owned a portfolio focused on the Appropriations, Education & Workforce, Energy and Commerce and Transportation & Infrastructure Committees. I was the liaison to other members of the Congressional Black Caucus, as well as the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, New Dems Coalition, DCCC, and Leadership offices. I worked to secure legislative wins to expand broadband across rural communities across Ohio, authored legislation to improve multimodal connectivity and increase connections for populations with limited transportation options; and worked to protect retirement plans from collapsing in 2014 under the Kline-Miller Multi-employer Pension Reform Act.
